San Diego-based real estate investment company Presidio Residential Capital says it has partnered with Santa Monica home builder Watt Communities to build a $13.5 million, 46-home community on nine acres along Antelope Road in Citrus Heights.
The AutumnWood project is expected to break ground in the spring of 2015. The site is about half mile due east of the Antelope Road exit off I-80.
AutumnWood will offer KTGY Architects-designed three-bedroom, single-family homes with two-car garages, ranging from 2,000 to 2,500 square feet. Watt expects the build-out to be completed by 2017.
It’s the second Sacramento-area home-building announcement in a week by the companies. Last week, Presidio and Watt announced plans to build an $18 million, 55-home community on six acres along Madison Avenue, just south of Citrus Heights. Officials said ground will be broken in April on The Village at Fair Oaks, bounded by Madison Avenue, Dewey Drive and Palm Avenue.
The Village at Fair Oaks will offer three- and four-bedroom, two-story homes, also designed by KTGY Architects. Homes will have two-car garages, open space, sitting areas and 32 guest parking spots.
Watt expects that build-out to take two years. Decorated model homes are slated to open this summer.
