The do-it-all midtown haunt Bows & Arrows will reopen with a tighter focus as Witch Room sometime in March.

“It’s a completely new idea,” said Liz Liles, one of the co-founders.

In addition to offering live music, Bows & Arrows was also a clothing boutique and art gallery. Witch Room, 1815 19th Street, will focus on nighttime events, primarily as a music venue. The website, which launched Wednesday, lists a five band line up for a March 25 show. The home page displays a drawing of a punk couple, each holding a cat.

“Aesthetically it’s going to change drastically,” Liles said. She said it will be a little “witchy” but it won’t be a goth venue. The website said the venue will offer “the best in local, national and international bands and performers” in addition to movie nights, dance night and private parties. The bar and patio will continue in this new format.

Bows & Arrows announced its closure in January.
