Re "ADHD, Tylenol in utero linked?" (Page A1, Feb. 25): The active ingredient in Tylenol - acetaminophen -- may influence brain development in utero. Researchers found that children whose mothers took acetaminophen at any point during pregnancy were 29 percent more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD than children whose mothers took none.

This, if true, is startling. Now that this study has shown the connection, the FDA should recall the products with the active ingredient. Simply having a warning on the bottle is not sufficient.
