• With all the trouble center DeMarcus Cousins gets himself into, would he still be with the Kings if he wasn’t averaging 22.3 points and 11.5 rebounds?

• Now that the Kings finally responded to requests to “free” Jimmer Fredette, isn’t it time to say goodbye to “Jimmermania,” too?

• Of the four players – Cousins, Jason Thompson, Isaiah Thomas and Travis Outlaw – remaining from last year’s team, which Kings player will be the next to leave?

• With the anti-arena battles over, does anyone still doubt that Kings owner Vivek Ranadive and his partners will have the new facility open for the 2016-17 season?

• UC Davis is expecting a raucous sellout crowd for today’s men’s basketball game on ESPN2; wouldn’t it be great if fans filled the Pavilion for every game?

• The Sac State men’s team could have a winning record for the first time since 1988-89, so isn’t it time for a new arena to replace the Hornets’ gym?

• If 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh is unhappy with his contract, his relationship with general manager Trent Baalke and his power within the franchise, aren’t there numerous qualified coaches willing to take the job?

• Raiders owner Mark Davis said Oakland is on its “last chance” to build a new stadium, but shouldn’t it be the fans who tell Davis it’s his “last chance” to field a winning team?

• If the NFL is serious about expanding the playoffs, why not increase to eight teams in each conference and do away with unfair first-round byes?

• If you spent $60 million to build a high school football stadium, wouldn’t you want to still be able to use it after 18 months?
