Re "Climate skepticism justified" (Letters, March 4): Letter writer Mike Genest writes that skepticism is at the heart of science, and he is absolutely right.
He applies skepticism to the science of climate change. I too am skeptical, particularly regarding this theory of gravity I hear about. I see evidence every day that contradicts this scientific theory.
Just yesterday I looked up and saw an airplane flying right over head. And how can you explain the flight of birds if gravity exists? I recently attended a party that had balloons that seemed to be defying gravity.
Gravity-shmavity. This is obviously the product of a group of self-serving so-called scientists who are just out to get more funding. I say we need to be very skeptical before we make massive changes to the world's economy trying to counteract the effects of this so-called scientific theory.
