Re "Majestic monarchs and modest milkweed" (Editorials, March. 2): Perhaps The Bee as well as the Natural Resources Defense Council could encourage gardeners to plant milkweed, which is necessary to the monarch butterfly's survival, as an antidote to overuse of the weed killer glyphosate.
The plant can be found at well-stocked garden centers both as plants and seed packets. It is easy to grow.
