Re "Issa's witchhunt against Obama reaches a new low" (Viewpoints, March 7): I'm wondering if Dana Milbank saw the same congressional hearing that I saw.
His article accusing Rep. Darrell Issa of "finding a new way to silence Democratic critics" is just another hit piece in the ongoing attempt by the media to disparage the Republicans' efforts to get to the truth of the various scandals of the Obama administration.
Nowhere in his article does Milbank mention the focus of the hearings -- the damning list of e-mails coming out of Lois Lerner's office proving that, indeed, the tea party was targeted by the IRS. If there is "not a smidgen of truth" to this scandal, why did Lerner invoke the Fifth Amendment again and again when asked about the e-mails?
