What about Safeway's customers?

Re Safeway to pay $2.25 million to settle complaint (Business, March 6): I'm happy to hear my being overcharged by Safeway has worked out so well for the District Attorney and other county offices. No one seems to be offering restitution to the actual customers affected. I'm sure a class action suit will net me a check for $0.46 at some point, while lawyers pocket millions.

On a grander scale, I hope this serves as another reminder that corporations will behave poorly when doing so pencils out, even after all the fines have been levied.
