TODAY’S GAME

KINGS (22-42) AT 76ERS (15-48)

Time: 4 p.m.

Where: Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia

TV/radio: CSNCA, 950, 1140

THREE KEYS

• 1. Don’t play the record: Philadelphia has lost 17 consecutive games. If the Kings are overconfident, they could be the streak-breaker for the 76ers. Philadelphia still has Thaddeus Young and Tony Wroten, who both played well in a victory in Sacramento in January.

• 2. Perimeter defense: The 76ers had success driving to the basket against the Kings in their January meeting. The Kings do not have a dominant shot blocker, so they can’t expose their big men to potential fouls by allowing the 76ers to head to the rim without resistance.

• 3. Play for each other: Kings coach Michael Malone said selfish basketball isn’t just about not passing. The Kings must set screens for each other and cover for one another on defense as other examples of not playing selfishly.
