Re "Area gas up 32 cents in month" (Business, March 12): I notice gas prices are going up again. It's hard to figure why. It was easy to know when George W. Bush was president. It was his fault; he was rewarding his cronies in the oil business. I know that for a fact because I read it in The Bee.
These days it can't be President Barack Obama's fault because he hates anything to do with oil; he prefers pumping money into failed solar businesses. So who's a fella to blame this time around? I prefer to keep things simple. I like my scapegoat. I'm gonna keep him. It's Bush's fault.
