The Kings recalled forward Royce White from the Reno Bighorns, the team announced Thursday night.

White signed a 10-day contract with the Kings March 6 and was assigned to the Bighorns. White averaged 8.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.5 steals in 24.8 minutes per game for Reno.

White has not joined the Kings on the road. The Bighorns play at Idaho Friday and Saturday.

Assuming the Kings sign White to another 10-day contract, White would be available when the Kings host Washington March 18.

White could workout with the likes of Kings director of player personnel Shareef Abdur-Rahim while the Kings are still on the road. Abdur-Rahim is also the Bighorns general manager.

There is a lot more on White here. White was a first-round draft choice of Houston in 2012, but never played for the Rockets over disagreements on how to work with him and his generalized anxiety disorder.
