Two days of high wind are forecast for the beginning of the week, starting this afternoon when gusts could reach nearly 40 mph in Sacramento.
The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a wind advisory for the valley and Delta from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday night. Blustery conditions are expected to continue into Tuesday before decreasing.
The weekend featured blue skies and above average temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s. High temperatures today are predicted to be 5-to-15 degrees cooler.
Dry weather is expected over interior Northern California for the remainder of the week.
