Re "Why gays oppose a lesbian" (Page B1, March 16) Columnist Marcos Breton asserts that Maggy Krell needs more experience, but could make a great district attorney in 10 years.
Actually, Krell is an experienced litigating attorney having served as a deputy district attorney in a neighboring county and is a member of a special crimes unit of the California Attorney General's office.
She's been recognized by her peers, law enforcement personnel and many of our community leaders for her work on behalf of victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, children and others in our society. As Sacramento district attorney, Krell would do well to protect all victims of violence in our county now, not in 10 years.
