Rocklin-based Sleep Train Mattress Centers has opened a new store in Woodland, its first location there.

The store is at 2051 Bronze Star Drive in the Woodland Gateway shopping complex.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Sleep Train officials said the new outlet will enable it to reach more consumers with the Sleep Train Foster Kids program, which annually oversees events benefiting foster children throughout California. “It’s a win for the community at large,” said Mike Wilson, Sleep Train’s executive vice president of marketing.

Sleep Train has more than 270 locations throughout the West.
