Bring a blanket to Picnic In the Park

Live music will meet a cornucopia of foods at Picnic In the Park, kicking off the annual concert series and food fest co-sponsored by the Davis Farmers Market and the Davis Food Co-op.

Attendees will find fresh seasonal produce at the farmers market, with plenty of grazing opportunities at the International Food Fair, offering everything from smoked tri-tip and ice cream to tamales and chocolate. Crafts and children’s entertainment are big parts of the soiree.

The picnic-music fest will be 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 29 in Central Park, 3rd and C Streets in Davis, featuring Blue Blazes playing rockabilly and blues. The fest will continue at 5 p.m. every Wednesday through Oct. 29. See the concert schedule here.
