With the dogwoods blooming and mild temperatures, this weekend is perfect for barbecues on the patio -- get-togethers perhaps hurriedly held at halftime of a March Madness college basketball game.
No rain is forecast to dampen outdoor activities. The high both Saturday and Sunday in Sacramento is expected to be 76 degrees.
Sunny skies should continue through Monday. Then, on Tuesday, the National Weather Service is predicting a slight chance of rain, followed on Wednesday by a greater chance of precipitation.
NWS forecasters say that they would time the wet weather to arrive between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon. It is still too early to predict the amount of rain that might be recorded.
