Sacramento's Wind Youth Services benefits from Subaru program

Sacramento’s Maita Subaru and Subaru of America Inc. on Wednesday will present a check for nearly $8,000 to Wind Youth Services, the Sacramento-based provider of services to homeless youths.

Wind Youth Services was the local beneficiary of SOA’s annual “Share the Love” program, where customers purchasing or leasing a new Subaru vehicle designate a charity to receive a $250 donation from SOA.

This year, SOA said it donated $10 million to participating charities. Beyond five designated national charities, Subaru dealers could also add a local charity. Maita Subaru at 2400 Auburn Blvd. selected Wind Youth Services as its local partner.
