A downed overhead wire at Regional Transit’s Power Inn light-rail station has shut down a section of the Gold Line.

Regional Transit spokeswoman Alane Masui said the service interruption began about 2:30 p.m. It is expected to continue through commute hours and likely into the evening.

Masui said buses are transporting light-rail passengers between the 29th Street and Butterfield stations.
