TODAY’S GAME

KINGS (25-47) AT MAVERICKS (43-30)

Time: 5:30 p.m.

Where: American Airlines Center, Dallas

TV/radio: Ch. 10, 1140

THREE KEYS

1. Streak busters: The Kings have lost 19 consecutive games at Dallas. The last win came on Feb. 27, 2003. The Kings need a solid start without a lot of turnovers to stay in the game. Given their lack of depth because of injuries, it might be too much to rally against a team fighting for a playoff spot.

2. Reserve power: The Mavericks have benefited from Vince Carter’s play off the bench this season. Carter is a contender for the Sixth Man of the Year honor, averaging 12.1 points. The Kings’ production off the bench can be unpredictable with no one providing consistent offense.

3. Health watch: Kings starting point guard Isaiah Thomas has missed the last two games with a right quad contusion. Backup forward Derrick Williams sat out Friday.
