KINGS (25-48) AT PELICANS (32-41)
Time: 5 p.m.
Where: Smoothie King Center, New Orleans
TV/radio: CSNCA, 1140
1. A little rest: Ray McCallum played all 48 minutes in Saturday’s loss in Dallas. With Isaiah Thomas’ status uncertain because of a right quadriceps contusion, McCallum can expect to play a lot again tonight. Even if Thomas can play, he’ll need breaks after missing the past three games.
2. Rudy’s way: Rudy Gay matched his career high with 41 points when the Kings won in New Orleans in January. Coming off a 30-point effort Saturday, Gay must be aggressive from the start.
3. Faster pace: The Kings are 21-6 when scoring at least 105 points. They are averaging 93.3 points during their three-game losing streak.
