Regional digest: Rain delays Sac State, UC Davis baseball games

Published: Tuesday, Apr. 1, 2014 - 6:27 pm

Tuesday’s Sacramento State and UC Davis baseball games were postponed because of rain and will be played today.

The Hornets (16-11) will host USF (13-13) at 6:35 p.m. at Raley Field. It will be the fourth time the Hornets and Dons have played this season. The Hornets lost 9-1 in Sacramento on March 1, then split a doublehheader the following day at USF.

Tickets for tonight’s game are $10 for adults and $5 for students and children. Parking is $5.

The Aggies (12-12) will host Saint Mary’s at 2:30 p.m. at Dobbins Stadium. The Gaels (13-13), who beat the Aggies 5-1 on Feb. 20 in Moraga, have won five of their last six games. Today’s game is the second of a three-game “series” between the schools this season. They also will play April 22 in Davis.
