Folsom Lake Bank, which has branches in Folsom and Roseville, on Wednesday announced plans to open a new full-service branch in Rancho Cordova.

The planned, 3,653-square-foot branch, subject to federal and state regulatory approvals, will be at 2865 Sunrise Blvd. Bank officials said they expect to open the new branch in this year’s third quarater.

“This new location will help us continue our steady growth pattern, with three very attractive branches strategically located to provide great convenience and accessibility for our clients,” said Robert Flautt, bank president and CEO.

In 2013, Folsom Lake Bank saw net income soar to slightly more than $1 million, a nearly 73 percent improvement over 2012. The bank had its 16th consecutive profitable quarter to close the year, with earnings of $365,374.

The bank was formed in Folsom in 2007. In 2009, the Roseville branch was opened on Douglas Boulevard near Eureka Road.
