Re "The wealthy control the message" (Letters, April 4): I have to chuckle reading the liberal letters to the editor regarding the Supreme Court decision, McCutcheon v. Federal Election Commission. Fittingly, every letter printed was critical of the court decision. I for one am sick and tired of hearing Democrats complain about contributions from individuals. They are nothing short of hypocrites.
They are perfectly happy to have public employee unions, the Teamsters, the UAW, and other unions buy liberals candidates lock, stock and barrel. But they complain when it goes the other way. Fair is fair. The reason California is so messed up is the union money flowing to the Bemocrats.
It's about time that conservatives can combat the hundreds of millions that unions spend. Take that, Democrats.
