A pair of Rancho Cordova office buildings have been sold in a deal that its broker described as the largest office-market sale in greater Sacramento in two years.
Zinfandel I & II, a two-building office campus off the Highway 50 corridor, was sold this week to Strada Investment Group of San Francisco for an undisclosed price. Strada bought the buildings in partnership with Farallon Capital Management of San Francisco.
Rob Cole of JLL real estate in Sacramento, who brokered the deal, said it reflected growing strength in the area’s office market. The region’s office vacancy rate has fallen to 14.8 percent, the lowest since 2008, according to researchers at Cassidy Turley real estate.
Cole said the Zinfandel deal was the largest office sale, in square footage, in the region since 2012. The seller was a family trust from San Jose, he said.
