Disgraced senators shouldn't receive payment

I find it despicable that such disgraces, scofflaws and frauds as Sens. Leland Yee, Ron Calderon and Roderick Wright are paid a salary upon Senate suspension. It is shameful the state allows a felon and legislators under federal indictment to continue to receive a salary benefit.

The taxpayer should not be supporting such despicable individuals to either expand their criminal enterprises or fabricate a defense while on a state tax dollar extended leave of absence. Emergency legislation is necessary to terminate salary allotments to disgraceful public servants.

I understand these hypocritical characters are entitled to due process. However, they must answer to the highest standard of public trust, and paying one to be a public enemy is absurd. It is unlikely any of these three stooges will do the right thing and resign as they lack the integrity, conscience or courage to do so.
