Elk Grove police seek help locating missing boy

Elk Grove police are asking the public’s help in locating 12-year-old boy who was reported missing Tuesday afternoon.

Police said Jamari Nelson (pictured) is considered at-risk because of his age. He was last seen about 4 pm. at his home in the 9300 block of Willow Pond Circle.

He is described as African American, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweat jacket with multiple colors, a black polo shirt, tan shorts and black socks with black Nike shoes.

Anyone with information regarding the boy’s whereabouts is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department’s dispatch center at (916) 691-5246.
