Highlights: In a 7-6 Las Vegas win Tuesday night, Eric Campbell hit a one-out, two-run homer in the seventh inning to put the 51s ahead for good. The River Cats tied the score 5-5 in the top half with a run on a wild pitch. The Cats erased a 3-0 deficit in the third inning with a two-out, three-run rally.

Take a bow: River Cats catcher Stephen Vogt and center fielder Shane Peterson each had two hits and two RBIs. Both players doubled.

Not without a fight: River Cats second baseman Alden Carrithers struck out to end the game – in a feisty 15-pitch at-bat against reliever Jeff Walters.

Today’s game: RHP Sean Murphy (0-1, 8.31 ERA) vs. RHP Noah Syndergaard (1-0, 3.00), 7:05 p.m., Cashman Field, Las Vegas.
