As an evangelical Christian and U.S. citizen, I am concerned about the loss of free speech for those who do not support the LGBT agenda. I am rather neutral when it comes to gender/sexuality issues, but I see LGBT organizations becoming more intolerant of anything they do not agree with.
It seems a person who believes in traditional marriage and family cannot express his or her opinion without being attacked. It is very important to express opinions in a respectful, kind manner. I abhor the hateful rhetoric which only causes division, hurt and harm.
However, thoughtful messages encouraging the traditional views are now routinely condemned. Theater managers are being pressured to refuse to show films which endorse the traditional family. If the speech of one group can be condemned, what's to protect any of us?
