• WOODLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE PLANT SALE

Where: Woodland Community College Horticulture Garden, 2300 East Gibson Road, Woodland

When: 9 a.m.-noon today

This annual sale of plants, perennials and flowers features plenty of spring and summer favorites including 35 varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Lots of other veggies, too.

Where: Crystal Hermitage Gardens at Ananda Village, 14618 Tyler Foote Road, Nevada City

When: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. today and Sunday; continues next Saturday and April 20, 26 and 27

Admission: $5, children ages 12 and under admitted free
