Spring weather is in the forecast for Sacramento this weekend.
A high pressure system hovering over the region will bring sunny skies, pushing temperatures near 75 for Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. A normal temperature for this time of year is about 70 degrees, said weather service forecaster Drew Peterson.
“The high pressure is continuing to strengthen,” he said. “The low 80s will return tomorrow and continue into next week.”
Sacramento is currently at 52 percent of normal for precipitation, a figure Peterson said will “slowly be dropping starting.”
The next chance of precipitation is at least ten days out, according to the weather service.
