River Cats glance: Another rainout ends series in Tacoma

The River Cats’ game against the host Tacoma Rainiers on Tuesday night was rained out and will be made up as part of a doubleheader July 26 at Cheney Stadium. This was the second game in the series to be postponed because of rain. Saturday’s series opener was rained out and made up as part of a doubleheader Sunday. Monday’s game was halted after seven innings because of rain.

Thursday: The River Cats resume action at 7:05 p.m., when they begin an eight-game homestand at Raley Field by facing the El Paso Chihuahuas. Josh Lindblom (1-1, 7.79 ERA) is scheduled to start for Sacramento. El Paso’s starter has yet to be determined.
