Man found shot in South Natomas dies of injuries

A man found suffering from gunshot wounds in South Natomas on Wednesday morning has died of his injuries.

Sacramento police responded to the 1300 block of Pebblewood Drive about 11:39 a.m. regarding a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a 39-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to a Police Department news release. He was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The man’s name has not been released pending notification of relatives.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
