Re Tom Meyer cartoon (Opinion, April 24): Thank you for printing Tom Meyer's cartoon depicting the relationship between Dianne Feinstein and Big Agriculture, and the implicit suggestion of the effects of her personal interests on the health of the Delta and nearly everything else in the California environment.

I hope this is the beginning of a serious look at the self-serving entanglement of the interests of Feinstein and her billionaire husband Richard Blum in the California economy. Feinstein's assets may be in a blind trust, but this is still a community property state, and the profits she accrues via her own and her husband's political and financial dealing will not always be in that trust.

And speaking of trust, this is one legislator we can always count on to help out her friends. Unfortunately, most of her constituents are not on her guest list.
