Cincinnati-based Buffalo Wings & Rings says it is planning to make a push in the Sacramento area with four to five locations by the end of 2015.
The company also announced that, as part of the push and marking its 30th anniversary, it’s offering $30,000 off its franchise fee to prospective franchisees.
The company said the resulting $5,000 franchise fee is “significantly lower than other food-based franchise opportunities.” Buffalo Wings & Rings officials said franchise fees for other major fast-food players typically range from $40,000 to $50,000.
Currently, the company has only two locations in California, in Modesto and Rancho Cucamonga.
Buffalo Wings & Rings, which touts itself as a sports restaurant franchise, has nearly 50 restaurants nationwide.
