Re "Gruesome execution spurs calls for greater transparency" (Page A1, May 1): Once again, politicians, the ACLU, and liberal media are having angst and a gnashing of teeth over a bothched execution of a convicted killer in Oklahoma. The killer is now the victim.

For proper perspective, and as little more than a footnote in the lengthy article, his victim was a young women raped and shot 15 years ago by the killer and then buried alive as she gasped for life.

Although not advocating torture, it seems to me that this is a case of what goes around, comes around.
