Border agents' actions are appalling

Re "Border agents' behavior under fire" (May 2): Your article about border agents cites an innocent woman shot to death in her car, and an innocent disabled woman physically abused so that she had a miscarriage. The handcuffs were so tight the fire department had to remove them. How painful that must have been? An innocent woman was subjected to multiple cavity searches, a CT scan and X-rays, dosed with laxatives and her bowel movements monitored They asked her to sign a consent form after the fact. She got a bill for $5,000 from the hospital. How could the hospital do this in the absence of medical need? A guest worker program would eliminate the need for them altogether. They say they do not tolerate corruption or abuse within our ranks. But their response to complaints is just denial.
