Northern California is between weak spring weather systems as dry and mild weather is forecast in Sacramento on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures this morning are running close to what the area experienced 24 hours earlier. Readings in the valley were in the 50s overnight.
The warming trend that started on Tuesday will continue today with sunny skies forecast before the next mild weather system arrives Thursday and Friday.
The precipitation forecast for Thursday into Friday is forecast to range from next-to-nothing in Sacramento to a bit more at higher elevations, such as 0.03 in Placerville, 0.02 in Auburn, 0.07 in Grass Valley and 0.13 at Blue Canyon.
