The Oakland Raiders chose defensive tackle Justin Ellis with their fourth-round pick in the NFL draft on Saturday.

They followed that choice with another fourth-rounder, taking cornerback Keith McGill out of Utah. That pick came out of a trade with the Miami Dolphins.

Ellis, a 6-foot-1, 334-pounder , comes out of Louisiana Tech. Ellis is considered a player who can occupy multiple blockers on the line of scrimmage.

McGill is listed as 6-3, 211 pounds. Scouts say he has the speed, size and hands to be a good pass defender but is less effective in run support.

In the seventh round, the Raiders chose cornerback Travis Carrie from Ohio University. Carrie is listed as 6-foot, 206 pounds.

With their second of three seventh-round picks, the Raiders took defensive end Shelby Harris from Illinois State. Harris is listed as 6-2, 288 pounds.
