E-cigarettes should be banned

Re "Electronic cigarette rules a good first step, but more regulation needed" (Editorial): Electronic cigarettes are smoke-free and tobacco-free, but they're not nicotine-free. The liquid in e-cigarettes is typically a combination of nicotine, flavorings, propylene glycol and other additives. Cigarette users should be able to slowly stop by not inhaling nicotine.

It seems being able to use an e-cigarette would make it worse. Imagine if every smoker goes to a mall and uses an e-cigarette. That would be a disaster for those who don't smoke.

True, the FDA regulations would forbid the sales of electronic cigarettes to minors. However, forbidding minors to buy an electronic cigarette does not mean that they will definitely avoid it. Minors have adult friends who can easily buy the e-cigarette for them.
