Re "A Republican show trial on Benghazi" (Viewpoints, May 9): Dana Milbank makes a good point. To extrapolate, I think it is reprehensible of the Republicans to attempt to use Hillary's appalling incompetence and perfidy to try and prevent her from becoming president. She deserves it, she's earned it, what with putting up with Bill's philandering, having to live in D.C. for 8 years and then having to play second fiddle to Barack Obama in the most corrupt administration since the Wilson regime.
After all, the presidency is just a reward for gutting it out and controlling your nausea. It's not like it really matters who gets the nod. It's kind of like the Nobel Peace Prize.
