Sheriff’s Department opens service center in Carmichael

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department announced the opening of a part-time service center to help serve residents in the county’s northeast area.

The Carmichael Service Center is located in the Safeway shopping center at Dewey Drive and Madison Avenue. It is intended to assist residents of Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Orangevale and Foothill Farms with non-emergency incident reports and crime reports, including thefts, vandalism, financial crimes and restraining order violations.

Public hours currently are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays. The center’s phone number is (916) 903-7480.
