Re "Benghazi investigation is an obvious ploy -- and a new low for GOP" (Viewpoints, May 13): Eugene Robinson's attempt to sweep what actually happened at Benghazi under the rug is as disgusting as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's response of "What difference does it make"?
It should make a huge difference when evaluating the effectiveness and character of the nation's leadership in time of crisis and its ability to protect American citizens. There are many questions regarding why this happened and why we weren't able to stop it. The American people deserve answers.
Robinson's response that there was nothing the military could do during the eight-hour ordeal is not acceptable and continues the liberal media's strategy of giving those responsible a bye.
