State Scientist Day celebrated at the Capitol

Assemblyman Richard Gordon, D-Menlo Park, and Doug Christensen, portraying “Mad Scientist Dr. Proton,” impressed young students with a demonstration of chemical reactions during the 26th Annual State Scientist Day at the State Capitol on Wednesday.

Thousands of third- to sixth-grade children attended the event to experience science related exhibits from around the state.
