Re "Donald Sterling's TV interview deepens anger over Clippers ownership" (Sports, May 14): Perhaps Sterling should have viewed "The Good Wife" and taken notes before he agreed to be interviewed by Anderson Cooper. He could have observed a fictional character who just didn't know when to stop talking.

Both the fictional character and Sterling made sincere apologies to the media, but rather than stop there, after perhaps winning points with the public, both proceeded to thoroughly trash their previous statements and lose any possible credibility they had gained.
