West Coast Brew Fest is Saturday

Published: Friday, May. 16, 2014 - 12:16 pm

One of the most popular beer events on the local calendar, the 15th annual West Coast Brew Fest is Saturday at Miller Park.

Tickets are available online, at Hoppy Brewing, River City Brewing or at the gate Saturday. The event is from 1-5 p.m. and it looks like we’re going to have great weather, with sunny skies and a high of 90 degrees. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the gate. You get a cup, a wrist band and then you can taste all the beer you want.

The concept here is about enjoying good beer and having a good time. There will be live music and plenty of food, too. The crowd will be big, and the vibe is laid back. About 3,000 people are expected to attend. The emphasis is on West Coast breweries, according to the website. For details and to get your tickets: http://www.westcoastbrewfest.com/.
