Re "Educating girls" (Political Cartoons, May 19): It looks as though the last reasonable-minded, responsible, mature person on The Bee editorial staff has left the building. Political preference aside, I enjoy a good, even outrageous cartoon as much as the next man - as long as it remains above the non-subjective bottom line separating outrageous from disgusting.
You missed the mark on this one. Rogers must be a real piece of work, and he can be whatever he wishes. However, the editors, who have many cartoons to choose from, have shown a real lack of care for their readers' sensitivities by printing this. It is an embarrassment by our daily newspaper.
