Water-wise tip: Don’t let water run while doing dishes

•  Don’t leave the faucet running while rinsing dishes.

Yes, it’s easier to just let the water run. But every minute means 2.5 gallons down the drain. By turning the water on and off as needed, you can save an estimated 12.5 gallons every time you do the dishes. If you do dishes once daily, that’s at least 4,500 gallons in water savings a year.
