Re "A steady diet of violence" (Letters, May 27): Janet Quesenberry's dishonest association and protest against sex education, teaching self-respect during early childhood and unpleasant experiences with Rodger's commission of terror, is utterly woeful.

Competently providing comprehensive, medically accurate biology education, advocating sex, reproduction and parenthood between consenting, loving, committed, responsible adults and accoutering our communities with practical resources that repel disease is not continuing entitlement. It's protecting public health and safety.

We must no longer tolerate the pernicious ideology, threats, acts and imitators of psychopaths or the infamously fatuous attitude of their apologists. Otherwise, upon the failure of their families, instructors, care and law enforcement to effectively secure them, we are in peril. We must protect one another against such individuals and their misogyny and mayhem-excusing company when necessary to stop jeopardy of our lives.
