Placer County sheriff’s deputies arrested three people in connection with the shooting today of a Sacramento man in Kings Beach.

Deputies were dispatched to 8645 N. Lake Blvd. at 1:55 p.m. following reports that a man had been shot in the face. They arrived to find that the shooting victim had been taken to a local hospital by a friend.

When contacted, the 19-year-old victim from Sacramento told detectives that the shooting was accidental, a Sheriff’s Office news release said.

The man, suffering from a single gunshot wound to the face, subsequently was flown to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno.

Investigators located the alleged shooter, Brandon Lamont Fuller, 19, of Kings Beach. Sheriff’s officials said Fuller cooperated with detectives and also reported that the shooting was accidental. During the investigation, two firearms were found away from the shooting scene.

Fuller was arrested on suspicion of negligent discharge of a firearm, an enhancement for great bodily injury and conspiracy.

Also arrested were Aydan Ryker Hamilton, 19, and Kyle Andrew Faulkner, 22, both of Kings Beach. They were held on suspicion of evidence tampering and conspiracy.
