Re "California has head start, but new EPA rules on carbon will prompt state to go farther on curbing emissions" (Business, June 3): Thank god for the job creators. Who else would spend the time and money to develop technology that will lead us to a new, cleaner way of life? A whole new industry is being created with the shift away from harmful energy sources such as coal, which provide approximately 174,000 permanent jobs compared to the speculated 37 million jobs that will be created by 2030 from renewable and efficient energy according to the recent ASES Green Collar Jobs report forecast. It's just nice to know that the job creators are still creating new jobs for everyone.
The term "job creators" has just become a way for someone to label themselves as the hero in order to justify their position. No matter which side they are on, it can be used either against new policies or for them. People need to realize that it's meaningless.
